I find this pretty bizarre: MyLondonGirl has just opened in one of London's megamalls, but/and it looks like a replica or clone of the American Girl doll.
There's no corporate info on the site to shed any light on it.
That's the real American Girl.
Is MyLondonGirl an official American Girl / Mattel subsid? (You'd think the site would have more pizazz and stuff on it, inc corporate info...)
Or is it a company using pirated (?!) American Girl dolls, direct from the various manufacturers in China?
Very curious.
Aack!
My daughter went to an American Girl themed birthday party today where all the attendees brought theirs (ours brought a similarly sized doll) and they made outfits for them. It's like a cult. She's asked for one for her birthday.
Hurry up and launch!!! :-)
