StagConf - a stories & games conf in Vienna

Hey, look at this - our pal Jurie Horneman over in Vienna is organising a Stories & Games one day conference, because he reckons all the good ones are stateside and we don't have much going on over here. I'm inclined to agree.

It's got a fantastic starting lineup of very good, deep and entertaining speakers, definitely worth the trip over for if you're not already local.

Plus, if I'm not wrong, it's going to take place in the amazingly mad museum where there's a stuffed whale stuck to one wall, and a stuffed, famous, dead chimp - famous because he smoked two packets of cigs a day in his poor, miserable zoo life. He's mounted with a pack of cigs next to him, and possibly also a bottle of booze.

Vienna's a great town for a night over too; last time I went, I ordered (and almost finished) two metres of sausage.

Beat that.

Super Meat Boy - 3Dprinted toys

With the blessing of Team Meat, Voxelous have been printing characters from Super Meat Boy. They're for sale on Etsy.

They're coloured, so they've chosen zCorp - the same stuff Figureprints and Sculpteo figs work with. The finish isn't perfect, but the colours are (other 3D printing materials & machines can't yet do colouring-during-printing like zCorp do. I've not checked whether it's a patent thing...). Cheap, too!

The End - nearly there...

I've posted about this before because it was a treasured thing to commission - a game about death and philosophy - and has taken a little longer to gestate than I originally anticipated. So, with pleasure, a trailer for The End, from Preloaded, for Channel 4 Education.
