I was so excited about this possibility back in 2006 when I did a mini-work-talk at AULA as the writing was on the wall back then: Google plus 3D plus maps... now it just needs a game layer and it's world domination time...

Have you checked out hte Microsoft one? Windows Live or Bing Maps or whatever it's called? I beleive they've integrated some variant of the Flight Sim engine and the tech and building extrusion, etc, is really good. I checked out Montreal and Paris and was surprised at how much there was there.

Hmm, the only thing I've seen in Bing is the amazing flash-based (?) 3D zoom stuff demoed in Jan.
