"As girls spend as much time listening to music, taking and editing
photos, watching movies, chatting with Skype, surfing the net and
playing games with their friends as boys do," says SCEE European
marketing manager Isabelle Tomatis. "We thought it was about time that
they had their own colour of PSP – and we’ve styled this one up just
for them."
Marketing is so predictable these days.
And note the carefully-placed-after-other-media positioning of "playing games". Seems every portable device wants to be known as an all-media device. Thing is, once they all are, what's the difference other than brand? It's at that point that Microsoft and Sony merge, I suppose ;-)
My girlfriend HATES Hannah Montana (her daughter used to torture her with her Hannah Obession. Thankfully, she's past that phase), but she really wants this PSP for some reason.
Then again, her brother already pre-ordered one for himself. Weirdness runs in the family, I guess.
