My game of TGS: terrible game, but who cares when the cover art's like this?
They even had one - one! - little piece of polyclay broccoli on the stand just to emphasise the point.
To be fair, it was a student game, so actually super.
Sonic showed up - in the kids' corner. The otaku enjoyed looking at the NOC as much as they did the games:
The cosplayers did us proud.
TGS itself was under-attended and underwhelming. Getting old, or credit crunch? Who knows. No Nintendo stand, which was, well, shocking.
Worthless Story wins the second best game title prize.
... and the Xbox 360 booth "companions" had informational arses:
I mean, if you're gonna be staring anyway, that's where to put the signage, right??
Aleks had a moment in the pink neon of the Cooking Mama stand.
And finally, Toyota has its own virtual world.
Nintendo not having a stand is not shocking or surprising. Seems they've abandoned the traditional games market entirely now.
