Public Service Announcement, this.
I needed a new beanbag - can't consolegame without a beanbag! - and I eventually got two bags from greatbeanbags.com, who are in fact great, even if they are lacking slightly in colour range.
I say eventually, because I had originally ordered from Blob Beanbags, who are USELESS (and right now, as I post this, behaving like criminals). Two months after order, no beanbag. They answer one mail in six; I'm sending a mail at the reasonable rate of 1 every four days. After my request for a full refund a few weeks ago, after 6 weeks wait, they've since ignored every mail I've sent. They've got my money, I have no beanbag, and now they're ignoring me - hence this post. Do not buy from Blob Beanbags.
Why not get credit card company to deal with it? Initiate a chargeback.

That'll be the next step. I was hoping they'd actually just be a bit more honourable and refund me when requested. Still no responses.. of course..

Six week wait with no response? Do it.

I had the same problem. BLob Beanbags is a scam company. They take your money and provide no product. Have file a complaint wih the Attorney Generals Office in CONN.

Hi. I. too ordered from Blob beanbags(27th Dec 2007) and have, as yet, received anything. They are not responding to my emails/ telephone calls. I think someone needs to contact the police if fraud is going on here. Shouls I eventually recieve anything, I will let you know.
I am beginning to get quite angry. I have paid £ 180.

I have informed the local Auckland authorties (enquiry@aucklandcity.govt.nz) and also www.dps.co.nz payment provider for the Blob Beanbag website. It appears that they are still taking orders and people's money. Action should be taken immediately.

I have now been informed by Blob Beanbags that the Beanbags have been sent and have been given the tracking number. I hope everyone else has now received their orders.

I am having the same problem. They are IGNORING my request for a refund. Apparently the beanbag I wanted was not in stock!
BUYER BEWARE!
Do not buy anything from Blog Beanbags.
They are scammers.

I would always recommend buying locally and not from overseas company, it makes it much easier when the product ordered does not arrive. I would have recommended Ambient Lounge's range of outdoor bean bags, their range can be found in most of the boutique retail stores in the UK and personally this offline presence makes me feel more confident when buying online.

If you are out on the street, and someone is selling you something, you hand them the cash, and they take off running, you don't wait for them to come back. Go after those thieves. They've had your money interest free for 6 weeks. They might get their legs or thumbs broken on this street...

I so agree, do not buy from Blob Beanbags, they are only interested in taking your money, not in ensuring that you recieve your goods, I have tried to contact them on numerous occasions, but nothing in return.
This is how business go bust!

As an employee at blob, I assure you she is not a scammers. Often sending internationally the countries will not let our parcels come through and that is where issues lie. They have our products. My boss is one of the sweetest, most genuine people around and as a boutique owner strives to address everybody's issues with a lot more grace than I would have. Try the landline.. 006495212204 and one of the two of us will always be there to take your call in NZ office hours.

Hey Jade if she is so sweet, why doesn't she answer my emails nor phone calls, why don't we get the product, why does she ignore my request for refund, why does she send a fake tracking number.
Good luck working with thieves....
BUYER BE AWARE BLOB BEANBAGS IS A SCAM AND IT IS INCREDIBLE HOW THEIR WEBSITE IS STILL WORKING DUE TO ALL THE REPORTS. UNFORTUNATELY, WE READ THIS TOO LATE AND FELL FOR IT.

What a shame I didn't read this before I sent them $220 for beanbags 3 weeks ago. I have emailed; no reply. I then telephoned last week and was told beanbags were on their way and that they would email me the tracking number. One week later, no beanbags! Telephoned agin was told that they had submitted an inquiry to NZ post, so I asked to be given the tracking number. She said she would emil it to me, so I told her that I would wait on the phone while she went "out the back" to get it.She gave me the tracking number, which I find out from NZ post has not even been sent yet, is not registered with them...BIG CON..will be telling everyone
