An economical, educational handheld for littlies in a smoothy green. I love it.
60 bux, what a bargain. It comes in pink-and-purple too, but please, don't buy that for your girls. Give them green, teach them that non-pink things are also girl-things. Especially foxy, eco green.
Here's a claim for you:
What it Teaches
- Letters
- Phonics
- Rhyming
- Spelling
- Numbers
- Counting
- Addition
- Subtraction
- Art and music
Probably better than dumping junior in front of the telly, that's for sure...!

I'm tired of the pink and purple too. Blegh. On the flip side though, boys sometimes get pigeonholed, and get stuck with drab shades of olive, brown, and navy.

They do indeed. I really loathe this colour-coding for stuff aimed at gender, because it's usually so far up one end of the spectrum: super fluffy, inane shit for the girls, and super violent, inane shit for the boys.
I mean, what kind of monsters is that going to turn out, eh?
