Yeah, I feel sorry for people who feel their entertainment can be ruined by apparent technical innacuracies - Die Hard was a great over-the-top action movie.

As the IMDb goofs page puts it:

Factual errors: Downloading 500 Terabytes of data via USB connection would take at least 100 days

Mid gun battle, looks at laptop, "0.001% Complete"...

Oh hurray! I knew I wasn't the only who experienced a loss of cabin pressure during Transformers! I'm curious as to why movies consistently drop the ball on computers and tech. Maybe they feel if they did it realistically it would be boring or too obtuse for the mainstream audience? At any rate, I managed to keep my brain in its designated cavity. You're right: focusing on the car-bots helps. :)
