I spent two whole hours in Second Life looking for cool gear, and I ended up looking like this:
Blue squirly hair and grey knee-highs.
What I really needed was this: a fashion guide to SL.
Only 10 spots are covered so far (the author must've gone through plenty to find these, mind), but if this were a regular thing, well. You can imagine. Vogue for SL would follow shortly after, and my L$ bankruptcy, too.
(Thanks, James!)
Oh fashion advice for SL is out there~! ^^
Secondstyle.com Is the SL equivalent of Vogue, complete with a daily updated blog at blog.secondstyle.com
www.LindenLifestyles.com and www.styledisorder.com are also great sites.
That failing, drop me an IM and I'm glad to help. ^_^

There are tons of places to look for fashion, store blogs, second life e-zines, blogs solely about fashion, you name it. Blogging is a natural outlet for many second lifers!
