For someone with supposedly good hand-eye coordination, I found this game bogglingly hard! I think it's one of those spatial relationship things, like that awful/fantastic game in EyeToy where you have to touch two corners of the TV screen when your image is mirror reversed and upside down.
Now when I think of Pepsi I'll think of ARRRRGH.

It'd be okay if the bats rebounded the ball like proper Arkanoid bats.

Wow! That is surprisingly hard! I haven't heard of Pepsi MAX before either.
