Historic moment

For me at least. I found Kornelia! This was a hint:

.. and tonight was the Microsoft 'Divas' party - not much to report, bit of food, lots of wine, Fable playing on the screens.. and Kornelia!

She and I were in a {Queen of the Hill? All-Female Tournament?} contest many, many moons ago (she won, I got knocked out very, very early). I asked her how her fragfest was going here - the ad is, frag her 7 times, win a teeshirt..
"So any teeshirts won?", I said, not really expecting it to be many.
"No", she said, not unexpectedly. This chick is FAMOUS for doing this. "No. One guy got one frag off the bat, and another guy battled back from -1 to get one on me", she says, "but otherwise, that's it".
"So no teeshirts!" I said, laughing. "No," she says, "and I played for four hours today already".

It was the same story at ECTS  5 or so years ago - I wonder whether the teeshirts they offer even exist...why bother having them printed? That's skill.

I'm going to go watch her do a stint of her 4-5 hours play tomorrow too. Meanwhile, this made me dig out a screenie before it dies and goes off the end of the archive.  Good times, those.

I remember playing Kornelia one ECTS when I was a games journo. I lost, of course, but it was highly entertaining watching all the over-confident guys queueing up and then leaving in a dejected strop when they got creamed. :) Not that I minded. A good friend of mine is a girl gamer who often gleefully destroys me at Halo.
