Here's a wondrous thing, and I hope I'm not giving the game away too much because I'm pretty sure there aren't many 8 year olds who read this blog: Code of Everand. A free-to-play MMO that initially appears to be in the vein of a fairly traditional adventure-quester:
But, it's not just that.
The people behind this very interesting project are the wonderful Area/Code from NYC - best known for their locational and pervasive games - and, get this, the UK's Department of Transport.
Yep: it's a road-crossing educational game. How's that for innovative? From the government, no less! Brilliant all round.










Extra points for being a pretty good game too.
