I keep thinking that I would like to create cakes like this. Not personally, I mean I would like to be the kind of person that goes into a bakery with some poorly drawn sketches and a heart full of good intentions, and to somehow gets across the geek love necessary to create something really fun like this. I haven't checked out many local bakeries, so I don't know if there is anyone up to the challenge of creating, oh, let's say a cake based on the dot-avatar that wanders around the classic Atari 2600 game "Adventure".
I would love to see the dragon/duck trying to chase down the sword wielding adventure dot as he makes a sliding run for the castle gate.
Thank God all of our happy memories don't automatically come in frosting form, though. I think my blood sugar would probably be off the scale
