London has a new expo, put together by Eurogamer (who are entirely indie, did you know that? I didn't, and they are. Very cool). I saw Rupert the other day, and he told me that the Expo was going to be all focused on playing only the games you're going to really want to play.

Consumer site Eurogamer is launching a new UK event for gamers, featured alongside the London Games Festival. Called the Eurogamer Expo, it'll showcase holiday releases across all consoles and be open to the public.[...]
The Eurogamer Expo will take place at the Old Truman Brewery from October 28 to 29 and will offer gamers a chance to play titles such as Street Fighter IV, Prince of Persia, Mirror’s Edge, LittleBigPlanet, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, and Saints Row 2.
I'm on holiday for this (and the London Games Festival, AND GameCity, argh!) which is a real shame.

Why does it have to be in London, during the week? I would have gone otherwise - I'm a EG forum regular :-(

I could really do with this being a bit further up north.

Yeah, say... Liverpool? Then I definitely would have gone :-D

I was thinking Leeds but Liverpool would have been preferable to London. Train tickets are sooo expensive.
