Steampunk Second Life city
Second Life is sometimes a most wondrous marvel of engineering. Take this example: New Babbage, a user-created steampunk city in which steampunk fans can "roleplay and be creative".
I can't even fly without landing on my head in SL, and the fact that the basic cylinder shapes can end up in something like this makes my eyes water. As Josh says, stick with it for the full 4:40 because there's some amazing underwater stuff at the end.
(Thanks Josh!)
(Speaking of Babbage, I just found out that he's buried in London's very lovely Kensal Green cemetary. Cor! I'm up that way all the time...)

Reminds me a lot of Myst, but very impressive to achieve this in SL!

Thanks Alice! I'm consistently amazed at what is being created in SL. Just when I think I've had enough someone turns around and build something like this! You should see what they've done with hair. Long flowing curly locks that look like real life. I mean. Whaaaaa???
