Sporepedia
Spore's creature creator alone is going to keep many, many thousands of people busy and quiet for many, many (thousands of) hours. It's a shame it doesn't contribute to building schools, or something, imagine the person-hours!
I found "myself" in the sporepedia today, as I was looking for my own creations. Meet Crystaltips! (Not actually anything to do with me of course except a similarity of handle).
Huh :)
Someone's had a go at making Will Wright, too. Miis these ain't.
Eww !

I've been tracking blog entries via a search feed through Technorati for a few months now, and after a nice build-up over the past two weeks was surprised to find a significant drop-off in posts Monday morning.
I'm unsure if it's because people were headed back to work, are too busy making critters, or if the anti-sporn reaction from EA/Maxis - along with the scrutiny being directed at their EULA - has partially dampened the enthusiasm of early adopters. There's been a slight rebound, but less than I'd expect at this still early time.
Suspect it'll pick up again before too long. And besides, I'm thankful for the slowdown; a hundred+ entries every time I checked was overwhelming. With few exceptions, people were generally pretty happy with it.

I'm still sulking because the creature creator refuses to start at all for me, I just get an error message about my graphics card being too feeble. And since I won't be able to afford an upgrade anytime soon, it looks like there'll be no Spore for me :(
