How's this for a lovely storytelling mechanism: googlemaps as a live scrolling .. story.. map. Check it out:
I'm only on Chapter 4, so I can't tell you any more about this, but it's from Six To Start and Penguin, designed by the chaps behind Perplex City, so I expect there's a game of some sort in there at some point.
Off to find out...
