If you're going to go pink, I guess you may as well go the whole piglet!
I still have my old-skool-style DS in pink, which is now a bit of an embarrassment. I got it when you couldn't actually get pink DSes in Europe, I got it via Lik-Sang, imported from Japan ... but now that pink consoles symbolise the market's push to "get girls interested", I'm completely ashamed to carry mine, even stickered-up as it is. It's like screaming I'M A NOOB!
I want a black one, and I reckon it's time to finally go Lite.
