Warning, cuteness alert (assuming babies don't make you puke):
Level 1 Human babygrow. The XP = 0 bit really made me chuckle.
Strength, Intelligence, Wisdom, Dexterity, Constitution, Charisma, Armour Class, Hit Points and Experience, in case you're wondering. I had to check with the resident D&D nerdhead for Con and AC, there.
Why babies have Armour Class of 6 is beyond me, it must be the nappy smell barrier shield or something...
(Thanks Michael ;o))

Depending on the AD&D edition, a higher Armour Class may not nessacerily be a good thing. ;P

So we lose Charisma as we level, interesting :).

Babies are surprisingly resilient, so that might explain the AC. I think the HP should be increased, tho - those nappies can clear a room in seconds...

Would HP affect magic? Because surely the nappy smell would be an AOE spell :-)

If it's 2nd ed rules, AC of 6 is equivalent to scale mail. However, a 3 DEX gives +4 defensive adjustment (penalty), so if the kid's unarmored that would make its natural AC 2, which is equivalent to field plate. Must be one hell of a doodie.
(In my defense, I didn't know this by heart, but I did know exactly where to find my 2nd ed player's handbook to look it up).
PS: awwwwwwww....

It's a 3rd Edition Baby, odviously.
In 3rd Edition, an AC of 10 is Naked standard human being, but unlike in the older systems, the AC goes UP the better it gets, not down. So, the baby is more defenceless than a normal human. Tada. It's a correct AC...unless you count parents a shields.

Base AC in 3rd edition is 10. A Dexterity of 3 is good for a -4 penalty to AC, so AC 6.

Well, you've all just gone far too in-depth for me. I'm lost.
