City of Thamesis

City of Thamesis looks like it could be an interesting project: it calls itself an interactive graphic novel, is episodic, and targeted towards teens and young adults.

City of Thamesis is:

... an online, action-packed digital graphic novel set in a stylised, alternate reality London. Please visit www.cityofthamesis.com/beta for a sneak peek at the first three episodes, interactive settings and backstory.

Folks love alternate reality Londons, don't they? I know I do. However, it also sounds like it is very early days for this project:

As well as developing a story, our plan is to create a 3D multi-user virtual environment in which people can immerse themselves by actually being characters and/or engaging in interactive experiences including side stories and quests.

Even using Multiverse, that'll take a while. I expect they're waiting to see if there's any interest in the subject matter first, which is one way- if a slow way - to do it.

The artwork is nice - different, fairly unusual - but what's patch? Is that like Spiiiiice?
