Okay, BlizzCon is a bit of a disappointment. It's very big, bigger I think than I was expecting, but also very anti-social: everything that you could want (clothes, food, playmachines) has a MASSIVE queue, and then there's lots of blank space in between.
I was at least expecting Server Gathering areas, or something, but no joy. Josh pointed out that the SOE fan faire has not only a banquet, but tables organised by server, which sounds great.
It's also very, very dark here.
However, the dance, singing and costume contest is after dinner tonight, and some folks are lining up to shine, at least in the cosplay department...
Love his ping-pong ball.
The little bottle of fanta is funny. The succubus REALLY knew her poses, she was superb.

Yes, these guys really are "amateur" cosplayers, although I've not seen better on anything official, of which these two are (so far) all I've seen:
Pretty bland, for Official, eh? Blizz will have to step up, next year ... or the players will win!

There was a battlegroup meeting place upstairs, but sadly, rather devoid of people.

Rough review, but I think they're still getting the hang of convention production :P I'm hoping this year is going to be a big step up not only for blizz but in my case for costumers as well. I know there will be some pretty fierce competition this year :)
