"“Playing with LEGO bricks and developing online worlds are both creative activities. To bring them together is deeply professionally satisfying and we look forward to working with the LEGO team,” said Scott Brown, President of NetDevil."
Details are very thin on the ground, and NetDevil's site seems to be down, which is rather bad form. Even Google's cache from a few days ago isn't pretty. Kotaku has a good chunk of insider info though.
(Thanks Jones!)

It's going to be really interesting to see how they go about doing this. Whether it will be just a "legoized" world that your in or if you will acctually be able to build things that will stay on your server. Or better yet you build things as your spells and summons. Like building pets when you reach a certain lvl. But like all interestion MMO ideas, they usally fall flat. And the designers miss what acctally makes the subject interesting. With legos its creativity, and if they mess up that, then theres going to be another game that no one ever plays, that falls into the bin with Matrix online and (for me atleast) City of Heroes.

Perhaps worth remembering that NetDevil made AutoAssault - which was about as disappointing as an MMO could have been.
