Dance Dance Immolation

I went to the Burning Man: Takeaways for Game Developers session this afternoon, thinking that the Burning Man reference might just be a metaphor for something, but it wasn't. It was a fascinating panel: at one point, one panellist teared up because BM memories were clearly beautiful ones. It was awesome. Lorne told a great story of this: Dance Dance Immolation:

Interesting. I kind of disagree with this as an official GDC forum. I don't think Burning Man should ever be offered as a seminar. Burning Man, among other things, is a non-commercial statement. Having a session like this, at GDC, seems like it is either:
a) A slight perversion of the non-commercial nature of Burning Man at an event which is entirely based on commercialism or
b) An opportunity to tell Burning Man stories at GDC with a bunch of other burners :)
