Missing London..

Jones took that one. I'm missing the Victorianness of London, and Borough Market, and europeans. And being able to wear big snuggly jumpers. It's all gone a bit misty and romantic in my head, even though I know most of the reality of London is actually traffic jams, bad food, pornographic "news"papers and lots of grumpy jostling.
Lawd bless the NHS though. I had my first experience of US healthcare this week, and it wasn't pretty (and bloody HELL it's expensive!).
Ahh ... and the ruddiness in your cheeks and the cosy feel of fire - and the misty breath and germs of fellow tube and bus commuters who refuse to open the windows. I used to love drawing on condensationed-up windows until it dawned on me that it was everyone's breath and stuff.
mmmm.

Misty breath? I always end up facing someone on the train with either morning $hitbreath or last nites curry...

You can't beat England with snow - it's just so damn gorgeous...

Don't get sentimental - that pretty snow turned into ankle breaking ice and then black revolting sludge within about 2 hours of it hitting the floor. It was damn cold yesterday and I got wet ankles too.

"I had my first experience of US health care this week, and it wasn't pretty (and bloody HELL it's expensive!)."
The nationalized health care plan for Americans: "Don't get sick."
(And I am one, so I get to poke fun. :P)
