Wii launch in Japan

The series of tubes is full UP of pictures of people camping out for Wiis.

I like this one though: 100wordminimum's brother Drew lives in Tokyo, and financed his Wii purchase by buying a Japanese PS3 for "some guy in the UK" and posting it over, a move that not only paid for his entire Wii bundle, but also a nice dinner out for him and his girlfriend.

They chose a shop in Akiba, whose manager had organised the wait queue in the underground car park:

Unbelievable. Drew was 400th in line (of 1500), and still got a Wii. They all got a Wii. I don't have a Wii.

I think it's time to move to Japan :o)

Thanks for the link. ^.^

Yes, you should move to Japan. Though you'll find it hard to get a Wii now, as they seem to be sold out all over Tokyo.

(But if you're nice, you can come over and play mine.)
