Pink Hello Kitty moment

Sorry about this, but I have to share. I stumbled across Tarina Tarantino's shop yesterday. I was expecting something a bit Reservoir Dogs, and I got something that was like Candyland meets Swarovski. (I think she may be very LA famous in fact, but what do I know?) She's a jewellery designer with pink hair, and her stuff is kitsch as hell, and completely over-the-top gorgeous. The shopgirls wouldn't let me take pictures, which is a pity, because the inside of the shop is like ... well, indescribably girlie and cutesie, except for the cool new stuff which is all black skulls and plastic chains. Very gothic lolita, I think this lady spends a lot of time in Tokyo.

I felt slightly ill after five minutes in there, but not before I bought one of these. Now I'm just going to have to apply for one of these, and really puke.
