MKDS walkthru
Can you believe there are multiple Mario Kart DS walkthroughs already? Well there are, and I picked out this guy's because of his fabulous ascii art. Help on boost start, what snaking is (sounds difficult) and other tips - fairly useful, probably worth a read if you want to know more about the game (slipstreaming! Who knew?). I just played someone who has unlocked R.O.B. already.
There is, of course, a huge debate on this, but I find that snaking is overrated, at least against other people.

For an expert on gaming culture I'm surprised at how surprised you are over this. FAQs regularly appear within days of a game's release. That we're a few weeks after MKDS' arrival I'd be more surprised if there wasn't a FAQ yet.
