The site's in Japanese so I can't work out whether they're for sale, a one-off or what.

They're for sale... though they seem to do a lot of custom work, and what's even more scary, some of them appear to made to be functional...

Guns are neither good nor bad, which most people seem incapable of understanding. They are simply a means to an end.

These are really cool replicas. Only one difference in the gun design. The game guns have brown wooden stocks. Other than that, perfect! I would definitely buy these.

The ones on ebay are real weapons, at least the ones I saw, thats why they look the way they do. They are no longer on ebay becouse ebay dosent alow you to sell firearms. But if he would have used good gunsmith they could have looked better.

These replica guns are cool but i prefer collecting replica swords, I mean they are the best. They feel so real and the adventure that follows is just awesome.

Posted by: Dante's biggest fan | February 03, 2010 at 21:36
what type of guns are they based off of ?
Posted by: corey | March 05, 2010 at 23:28
They're based off the Colt .45 "Longslide", or something like that. Yeah, I'd buy them, but unfortunately, this seller has a contract with Capcom that prevents them from being sold outside of Japan, or so I gathered after reading the page translated.
Posted by: Tony Redgrave | June 12, 2010 at 21:01
Correct, the design is based on the longslide or target version of a 1911, im not familiar with the anime but looking at the guns in the picture provided they would have to be a 2011 frame which is a frame set up for a double stack magazine. Also a 1911/2011 has a trigger that slides fore and aft via a bow that goes around the magazine inside the grip not the more conventional hanging trigger shown on these guns making it appear to be a gun converted from single action to double action. This is usually done by someone who feels that a double action is safer to carry condition one than a single action. As for the cosmetics on the gun it has been fitted with a single port compensator profiled to match the slide. the slide has been machined with a shallow Browning High Power style profile. An aluminum piece seems to be fitted to the bottom of the dustcover running the full length of the gun and compensator presumably clamped over a picatiny rail (common to 2011 frames) either just for looks or to add weight to the front of the gun to reduce recoil. The grips are styled like Hauge wraparound grips. To build models of these guns I would start with several cheap airsoft longslide 1911 or 2011 pistols, make the compensators from the ends of another pair of 1911 pisols by cutting off the last inch and a half of the slides, grafting them onto your pistols then cutting the port out of the top with a dremel then using the dremel to narrow the front end of the slide (the Browning High Power styling). Make the weight allong the bottom of the gun out of a piece of aluminum C channel from the hardware store. If your airsoft gun you picked already had the improper hanging trigger instead of the true 1911 trigger like many of the cheaper airsofts do then your good to go, if not graft a trigger out of a High Power or a Berretta M9 or almost any other pistol to match the picture. As for the grips you could either use the grip off of an old brass eagle paint-ball gun and sand it a bit to fit or simply build up the original plastic grips with bondo and sand it to shape. Finally make a roughly rectangular box of plastic to glue to the bottom of the magazine to make the magazine bumper. These protect the magazines from getting damaged when their ejected and allowed to fall on the ground during a tactical reload.
You can do it yourself if you put your mind to it.
On a final note, if you go to conventions they may not appreciate you carying around functional guns airsoft or not so save yourself the trouble and dump the guns internal parts in the trash while your modifying it. Nothing worse then having spent many hours making your perfect repli-gun only to have con staff at check-in tell you that it wont be allowed on the grounds because it can still fire.
