Your sister produced this?!

It is better than the David Lynch ones for the PS2.

That is really, really cool :-) I would love to be able to make videos like that...how long does it normally take to produce a clip of that length (and quality)?

It's all a bit bonkers. :) Clever too.

It's a TV advert so.. you know, lots and lots of money :) Showing here (UK) very soon, if not already..

That is quite impressive Alice. What VisFX house created it? I work in the VisFX department here on Stargate and I see CG compositing et cetera every day. This is quite good! The compositing, CG, story and camera shots are all excellent. I'll create a short post on my site with a link as well if that's ok? Maybe with the name of the VisFX house. :-)

Tres cool.

It was made at the Mill in London and took 5 months to produce.

Erk! Actually, I meant to say it took 5 months to direct and build. If your sister really did produce it you should ask her to describe to you the actual workflow on such projects. Producers handle money and schedules. The actual THING is MADE by CREATIVE people.

LOL!

You think producers aren't creative? Silly boy. Creative isn't just people who paint pictures or wield cameras, you know. Ask any programmer.

I know exactly the workflow. I also know that the producer spends a whole lot of time with the project owner, well before it's let anywhere near the "creatives", during which time all sorts of ideas are thrown around.

So shhh.

Sorry Shane, I totally didn't get your comment! Email must've eaten it. Bongo_Pete was correct, it was at the Mill (London).

A.

You might be interested in the fact this is now on the Daypop top 40 as "Chris Cunnignham's PSP commercial":

Was he actually the director? Isn't he meant to be filming Neuromancer or something?
