game-pod-casting

Gamescast will offer games related podcasts, when it launches, which is "soon". They don't quite say when, nor what the content will be, but you know, thumbs up for being hip n' all.

We are still not sure of a exact launch date but if it all goes to plan it will be a week or so after the release of iTunes 4.9. The majority of the system design is now done there just a lot of content creation and editing to be done over next few weeks. Finally we now have access to Odeo so getting Gamescast all inter-grated there will be a important step.

Gamescast

If you're not quite up on podcasting (hell, who is):

• Gamescast has been created to provide Podcast and Podcasting tools to the gaming community.
• Since its debut in 2004, Podcasting has exploded from one to over five thousand Podcasts.
• Podcasting is in essence an mp3 based push media delivered via user RSS subscriptions made in a podcast client and ANY mp3 player, be it a I-Pod, I-River, PSP or Mobile Device.

Plink plonk bla bla. What they're saying is, you can make your own podcasts, or audioblogs, and they'll host them for you. I love sentences that are just strings of tech words, they make me comfortable and sleepy.
