Maps of WoW lands

When I was 12, I mapped out 'Sphinx Adventure' (BBC Micro) using arrows and lots of N, E, S and Ws on a giant roll of wallpaper liner. Nerdtastic! How things have progressed: some people have got together and figured out the lands, flightpaths, etc for World of Warcraft and drawn them out in fantastic detail:

Now that's dedication. (Also bloody useful, thanks people!)

Kalimdor.
Eastern Kingdoms.

Wow. That's pretty. And helps illuminate how *very* annoying it is that there's no flight routes from the Dwarven lands to the Human ones...

Snarl.

Hmm...it looks quite like a map of Ireland. Minus the deserts, etc.

Are these just smaller, lower quality versions of the original images of the maps to save space and download time? Also, was Hyjal zone actually accessible for you? or is it just an instance by chance? It so happens I play on the Hyjal server, and the Hyjal region won't highlight like the other regions, but I see you have the whole Hyjal region discovered on your map. If you have the original quality of this map, can you please tell me where I can download it? If it exists in it's original form, it will save me from spending hours, days, weeks, even months on a project I had started that someone has already completed. Thanks :D
