I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy about Nintendo at the moment. After declaring loudly about a year or so ago that they weren't going online as it'll never take off, they quietly overturned that particular decision, releasing an online connection kit for the gamecube and apparently planning online functionality for their next-gen (well you'd think so, eh). Also they keep doing entertaining things like releasing mp3 and video player functionality for the gba, as well as videoconferencing, and let's not mention bongos. Love 'em.
I'm back. Spent the past few days trying to sort through email, and trying to synchronise life with new computer at work, and half a new computer at home (pcspecialist have delivered me a beautiful aluminium box, but no monitor, 4 weeks late. If the damn box weren't so pretty, I'd be more than mad, but they're clearly a few men in a garage building these things).
Now, it may be me, but is everyone out there just playing Halo 2 or what? The wires are quiet. I can't find much of interest out there.
My Zelda shirt arrived, and once cut down does a fairly good imitation of a girl's tee if you're my size (12 British), so if you're smaller, don't bother. Zelda and the Minish Cap is okay, but incredibly difficult (as in, you don't know what/where to go next, rather than hand-eye difficult). A common complaint, apparently. Arm yourself with a walkthrough because it's a pretty major design flaw in an otherwise comfortably familiar and entertaining game. Also, something in there.. they have either employed the designer from Harvest Moon or the games are produced by the same studio, because Link's bottle of milk is identical to the bottle of milk you get from milking your cows in HM.
